  G eography, despite its various definitions, often manifests as a curse in international relations, creating obstacles that hinder the development of certain nations. These challenges stem from the geographical position of a country’s territory or its natural resources and can expose a state to security threats from both external and internal adversaries. In their pursuit of interests, neighbouring countries or global superpowers often adopt dangerous policies, disregarding international norms and the interests of others. The countries in such delicate environments find it extremely difficult to maintain independence, sovereignty, and sustainable development.   The  BOOKS for PEACE 2024  Prize has been awarded to  Sophia Loren , one of the greatest icons of Italian cinema, who represented the beauty, strength and elegance of our country in the world. The prestigious award was presented to  Edoardo Ponti , director and producer of the film The Human Voice, to Ms Sophia Loren for the memorable and extraordinary performance in a MasiFILM production. ZAVNOBiH and the continuity of statehood in Bosnia and Herzegovina through the 20th and 21st centuries

  F ollowing the loss of its state independence in 1463 during the medieval era, Bosnia and Herzegovina remained a distinct multi-confessional, multicultural, and geographically cohesive entity until the mid-20th century, under the rule of the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian empires, and later the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. This status persisted until the imposition of King Alexander I Karadjordjević's January 6th Dictatorship in 1929 and the subsequent reorganisation of Yugoslavia into nine banovinas. Between 1941 and 1945, during the Second World War, Bosnia and Herzegovina became the primary battleground for National Liberation and the anti-fascist struggle led by partisan forces against the occupying powers on Yugoslav territory.
