30 APRILE 2023: UN REFERENDUM PER IL NUOVO CORSO DEL MODERNO UZBEKISTAN

  Il parlamento dell'Uzbekistan   (   Oliy Majlis ) ha annunciato l'approvazione di una serie di emendamenti alla costituzione del paese.  Queste riforme saranno ora sottoposte al Paese con un referendum , fissato per il 30 aprile , per l'approvazione definitiva direttamente dai  cittadini  uzbeki .  Lo scorso  13 marzo infatti , la  Corte costituzionale dell'Uzbekistan  ha  stabilito che la decisione della Camera legislativa di indire un referendum era conforme alla costituzione. In base alle riforme proposte, la costituzione impegnerà il paese a una maggiore protezione dei diritti umani, valori democratici equi e aperti e uguaglianza all'interno della  variegata popolazione multireligiosa e multietnica  dell'Uzbekistan .  Gli emendamenti costituzionali mirano inoltre a sancire i principi dello stato di diritto, della rappresentanza democratica, della separazione dei poteri e di una società civile rafforzata.  Inoltre, le riforme sostengono lo sviluppo economic
